Do I need any wine knowledge to join? Not at all. Whatever your current wine knowledge is, The Cellar Community is designed to be welcoming and inclusive. Our aim isn’t to simplify wine, it’s to make it more approachable for everyone. What are the benefits of becoming a member? Members can access Member Portal through our website using their account login. Inside, you'll find exclusive content including tasting videos, educational resources, producer stories, release archives and much more. Will I have access to exclusive events? Yes. Members will have the opportunity to attend a range of exclusive events designed to bring our community together. From guided tastings and producer events to social gatherings and special experiences, our events are created to help members discover new wines, build confidence and connect with fellow wine lovers. Event availability may vary, and some events may incur an additional charge. Do I need to be over 18 to become a member? Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a membership or order alcohol from The Cellar Community. We operate an age verification process, and our delivery partners may request proof of age upon delivery where appropriate. MEMBERSHIP & SUBSCRIPTION How does the subscription work? Members choose the membership that’s right for them. Depending on your chosen membership, you’ll receive access to exclusive content, member benefits and carefully curated wine experiences, with wines delivered according to your selected membership level. How often will I receive wine? This will depend on your membership package. Details of delivery frequency and inclusions will be clearly outlined before you join. Can I choose the wines I receive? Not at the moment. Every release is thoughtfully curated to take members on a shared journey of discovery. By exploring the same wines together, members can enjoy the full experience, from educational content and food pairings to community discussions and exclusive tasting events. It's all part of what makes The Cellar Community unique. Can I pause or cancel my membership? Of course. We want members to stay because they love being part of the community, not because they feel tied in. Membership can be managed through your account and cancelled in accordance with our membership Terms and Conditions. Is there a minimum membership period? No. We don't believe in locking members into long-term commitments. You're free to enjoy The Cellar Community for as long as it suits you. We hope you'll stay because you love discovering new wines, building your confidence and being part of the community, not because you're tied into a contract. What happens if my order arrives damaged? We take great care in packaging every order, but if something isn't quite right, please contact us as soon as possible. Where appropriate, we'll arrange a replacement or another suitable resolution in accordance with our Returns & Replacement Policy. DELIVERY Can I change my delivery address? Yes. You can update your delivery address through your account before your next billing date. Any changes made after your order has been processed may not take effect until your following delivery. Can I skip a delivery? Yes. We understand that life gets busy, and everyone enjoys wine at their own pace. If you need to skip a release, you can manage your membership through your online account before your next billing date. We want your membership to feel flexible and enjoyable, so you can explore wine at a pace that's right for you. Where do you deliver? We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom. As The Cellar Community grows, we hope to expand our delivery areas in the future. If you're outside the UK and would like to hear about future availability, we'd love to hear from you. How much is delivery? Delivery is included with all active membership subscriptions, so there are no additional delivery charges for your scheduled releases. For purchases made through our online shop, any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your order. WINE SELECTION & EDUCATION How are wines selected? Every wine is thoughtfully selected by our founder to create a release that's both enjoyable and inspiring. We look beyond quality alone, choosing wines that each have a story to tell—whether it's an exciting producer, a fascinating region, a distinctive grape variety or a style we think our members will love discovering. Our aim is to help you build confidence, broaden your horizons and introduce you to exceptional wines you may never have chosen for yourself. Will I receive tasting notes? Yes. We want every bottle to tell a story. Each wine is accompanied by thoughtfully designed tasting notes to help you get the most from each bottle. Alongside tasting notes, you’ll receive food pairing suggestions, insights into the producer, region and grape variety. Will I learn about wine as part of my membership? Absolutely. Education sits at the heart of The Cellar Community. Our content is designed to build confidence, increase knowledge and make wine more enjoyable. Do you only feature expensive wines? No. Great wine exists at every price point. Our focus is on quality, authenticity and enjoyment rather than prestige alone. Can I purchase additional wines outside my subscription? Yes. Members may receive access to exclusive offers, limited releases and additional purchasing opportunities throughout the year. COMMUNITY & EVENTS Are events included in my membership? Some events may be included within membership packages, while others may be available at preferential member rates. How do I find out about upcoming events?
